27/11/2016 - Sheffield Environments Weeks wins Award
We were nominated for an award in the Sheffield 'Make a Difference' Awards 2016 in th e category 'Small Group, Big Impact'
And we won.
Jessica Ennis presented a plate and certificate on Thursday the 24th at the Event that was held at the Sheffield Cutlers Hall. It was collected Phyllis treasurer and Liz ditributer.
Well done to Pat our chairwoman and the rest of the team. Lets hope that we can keep going in years to come.

09/06/2016 - Robin Hood Day
The Wadsley and Loxley Commoners are holding a 'Robin Hood Day' on the common. This event will start at 1pm on Sunday 19th June, and it would be a great place to bring the family and a picnic and find out more about the Legend of Robin Hood and the common. This is a small event and there will be woodland crafts, music from the Traditional Fiddle Society, The Sherwood Foresters with their longbows, Maypole Dancing, Storytelling and demonstrations of Charcoal Making.
