Friends of Shirtcliffe
Friends of Shirtcliffe is an action group formed in 2006 to restore and conserve the Shirtcliffe Valley. This Valley is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) in the South East quadrant of Sheffield. There are two woods (Shirtcliffe Woods at the east end and Smelter Wood at the west), with a stretch of scrub and grassland in between. Shirtcliffe Brook flows from west to east along the Valley.
