Description | Take part in The Wildlife Trusts' "Our Meadowland Wildlife" weekend, and join us on a guided walk around Carr House Meadows Nature Reserve. A wealth of stunning wildflowers covers this reserve in early summer, and our ecologist will be guiding us through their identification. In previous years, we've seen some beautiful orchids, amongst the yellow rattle, ragged robin, and countless grasses. Keep your eyes peeled for all the different butterflies, as a bonus! Bring along a picnic for lunch, and enjoy the peaceful meadows and beautiful views across the Ewden Valley. This event is part of a series of Our Wildlife events, held by Wildlife Trusts across the UK to celebrate 100 years of nature conservation. |
