Description | In this session we will cover the topic of wild food, from the view point that developing ones own understanding of perennial plant systems; how plants spread themselves and why, becomes a base in our understanding for getting to grips permacultural principles of zoning, the families of plants, forest gardening, aspect and access, cycles and seasons, the elements and cycle of nutrients. We will discuss what the Wild means, and why a "wild life" is important for individual as well as global health, in terms of increasing diversity and value in life. Part of a series of events about Food and Sustainable Food production These Events run as a complete course, covering many of the core aspects of Organic Horticulture, and the core principles of Permaculture. Yet they can also be treated as individual sessions in their own right. COST - £10 for each individual session, £80 for the whole course.
