Description | We are a group of students from Sheffield School of Architecture, who have been developing a system using pallets and recycled materials to build small scale structures, focusing in particular on housing composing toilets on allotments and for outdoors events. The first prototype, with a built-in a compost unisex urinal, was built and tested last week at Allotment Soup, a festival organised by Grow Sheffield, and is now up and running on Norwood Allotments - please see the attached photograph! We will be giving a workshop for other allotment holders, architecture students, environmental groups and anyone who might be interested in our work, and in building their own pallet structures or composting urinals. We hope that you too would like to come! |
