Participants to learn use tools on practice pieces - offer of carving a name plate or start a bowl/spoon Each participant will go away with two items they have made (or started to make) themselves and the basic knowledge of how to use sharp tools safely. They will need to bring a packed lunch a plenty to drink. I will supply a detailed risk assessment when I know where at the Saw Mill site you would like me to deliver the course. I will bring tools, materials and first aid (I am first aid qualified). Parents and children MUST be prepared for the possibility of minor cuts and bruises. You cannot learn without the odd small mistake. I will do my level best to control risks and to this end I will require an undertaking of all participants that they: a.
