Description | An enjoyable linear walk on the outskirts of Sheffield of 8½ miles, at a moderate pace, taking in valleys, woodland and moorland, going via Ringinglow, Limb Valley, Lady Cannings Plantation, Ox Stones, Rud Hill, White stones, Reservoirs, and Conduit, ending at Lodge Moor bus terminus. This walk uses mostly rough paths and tracks, maybe muddy and boggy in places (good walking boots recommended) and includes some modest ascents and descents. Bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. PLEASE NOTE: this walk does NOT return to the starting point but finishes at Lodge Moor bus terminus (served by the 51 bus service to town every 15-20 minutes). No dogs.
