Description | Come and learn the ancient skill of thatching. No previous experience needed and all tools will be provided. This one day workshop will include - The hstory of thatching - with Dr Roger Doonan of Sheffield University's Archaeology Department - Tools, Techniques and Materials - A practical thatching session -Resources to enable you to complete your own thatching projects. Please where appropriate outdoor clothing Places are limited please book in advance Cost £40 including resources and a thatchers lunch. |
