Description | Don't be fooled by the pretty pink flowers, this invasive and poisonous alien can be a real problem, outcompeting native wood and heathland species. We will be controlling it by cutting and burning, and any regrowth will be sprayed out the following year. So it will be loppers and saws at the ready! Training and tools provided, but please wear suitable clothes including sturdy footwear, bring gardening gloves if you have any, and your own lunch. Joint event with The Steel Valley Project http://www.thesteelvalleyproject.info/ |
