Description | The latest in this long-running favourite will provide insight into what lives in the dam pond on the edge of Wharncliffe Heath, and what flies over it at dusk. In addition we will expect to take a short walk onto the heath to hear the ghostly churring of the male Nightjar. Pond-dipping and bat-detecting equipment will be available but it is important that you bring your own torch, wear stout footwear, and clothes that will keep out the evening chill. |
