Description | A guided historical walk around Kenwood lasting 2-2.5 hours, led by members of the Nether Edge Neighbourhood Group's History Group. We'll explore the history of this elegant Victorian suburb, its houses and the people who lived and worked in them, and the part played in its development from the 1850's by the cutlery manufacturer George Wostenholm of Kenwood Hall, the builders Thomas Stead and Henry Brumby, and the landscape gardener Robert Marnock. |
