Description | From some of Sheffield’s poorest inhabitants sharing a hostel to those rich enough to have their garden expensively landscaped, from prisoners walking in chains to Wakefield to the future King himself. Pitsmoor has played host to both rich and poor over the ages. With fascinating architecture, stories of the past and stunning views across the city, this new tour will take you through the ups and downs of this area. This walk will be led by NOW ’n’ THEN, will start at Abbeyfield House, looping around Pitsmoor to finish back at Abbeyfield House (S10 2DR). |
