| Description | Come along and enjoy a wonderful walk through Bowden Housteads woods. Take in this nature reserve which during spring and summer its woodland flowers and bird songs are at their best. Encounter a sculpture of a steel giant which stands on the edge of Bowden Housteads wood next to Sheffield Park way. This sculpture explores the close relationship between Sheffield’s ancient woods and its steel industry. Meet at the free car park on Station Road near Darnall railway station (S94JU) at 6pm. This walk is approximately 3.2 miles. |
