| Description | You are invited to a free guided walk on the history of the Cemetery from its beginnings in the 1830s to the present day. The walk also features the lives of some of its more notable residents. The walk starts at 2pm on the first Sunday of each month at the Cemetery Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue, S11 8NT and lasts for between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes. There will be free light refreshments available at the end of the walk and a chance to find more about the trust's work and have a look at some of our publications. As with all our events and activities at the Cemetery, it is free to attend and there is no need to book. We do welcome donations which are used to support the work of the volunteers.
