| Description | Free creative art-activities running every Sunday, 2pm - 4pm til June, in welcoming community space in grade II listed chapel, for anyone interested in making willow-framed, carnival lanterns, festival decor, recycle/shadow puppets and more. Suitable for all needs/abilities, supervised children. Informal, friendly creative space. Drop-in - no need to book. Pursue your own ideas or collaborate with others in making lanterns for Sharrow Lantern Carnival (7 April), decor for Sheffield's brilliant Peace In The Park festival (8 June) and experimental recycle/shadow puppet performances/projections. Emphasis on recycling and sourcing salvaged/donated items: construction-materials sought and welcomed (eg: large sheets of firm card, board, bed-sheets, paints etc) Info/queries -please get in touch, thank you. |
