Description | Do you enjoy the pleasure of being outside, practical and hands on? If so why not come along and volunteer to help us to maintain Shirtcliffe Wood and Valley. With help of the Ranger Service we’ll be working in the plantation to the Northern Edge of Shirtcliffe Valley, thinning out trees & general lopping / chopping. This is going to be a labour-intensive task, so we need as many people as possible. The offcuts will be used to make a dry hedge to deter off road motor bikers. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, wellies, boots or old shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. |
