3 miles/4.8 km 3 hours
Theme: We pass Totley Hall en route to Gillfield Wood and then visit Fanshaw Gate Hall for a guided tour of its glorious gardens. Refreshments will be served at the Hall. The return route passes the 16th Century Woodthorpe Hall. Includes stiles and a steep climb.
Meet Castle Square Tram Stop at 17.10 to catch 97 bus from High Street at 17.18 or meet group outside the Fleur de Lys pub, Totley, for a prompt 18.00 start. Grid Reference SK 306798. The tour will end in time to catch the 20.56 bus back to town.
