Time 18:00 until
Meet At Pennine Lecture Theatre
Sheffield Hallam University City Campus,

Description Inaugural Professorial Lecture by Professor Ian Rotherham. While people shape ecology and the environment, nature shapes us. Long-term studies emphasise the importance of local economic use in shaping the landscapes and wildlife habitats we consider the most precious: they bring benefits to our health and local economies, and underpin the quality of life. Using examples from around the world, Professor Ian Rotherham will highlight the consequences of the severance of traditional land-use practices. Places are free and include refreshments and a light buffet, but must be booked in advance. See SHU website for booking link.Organised by Sheffield Hallam University.
