Description Shire Brook Valley Heritage Group will take people on a walk through the Shire Brook Valley in southeast Sheffield looking at the ways water has been used in the valley over the last 400 years and longer. The Shire Brook is a historic boundary; the valley has remains of waterwheels for powering forges, a spa bath for bathing, old sewage works and coal mines all made extensive use of water.
