| Description | Led by Ken Balkow, this will be a one-way walk, following the Porter Brook from Wards Brewery flats to Forge Dam, so public transport is the best option. Meet at 9.30am at the bus stop at the bottom of Ecclesall Road (going out of town), near to Waitrose car park entrance (SK346863). Buses 81, 82, 83 and 88 are frequent in both directions. The walk should end around 1pm, so anyone wishing to return to the starting point can walk up to Fulwood Co-op to catch bus no 6 or 120 back to the city. |
